Harlequins top six finish in the top flight will see nine players on England duty this summer after scrum-half Danny Care and Mike Brown were drafted in to the senior squad to tour New Zealand announced today.

Care, called in to the training squad for the Six Nations clash with Ireland earlier this year, has been in impressive form since making the number nine shirt his own at the Stoop.

While Brown returns to the full international set-up for the first time since playing a part in last year's disastrous tour of South Africa.

Number eight Nick Easter and winger David Strettle complete the Quins contingent in elite rugby director Rob Andrew and team manager Martin Johnson's first selection since the departure of Brian Ashton as head coach.

Quins captain Will Skinner will lead the Saxons for the Churchill Cup competition in Canada and the USA, with fellow back row stars Chris Robshaw and Tom Guest joining him in the forwards.

Flyer Ugo Monye, who has spent the last two seasons in the international wilderness after starring for the England Sevens squad, has been rewarded with a call to the England Saxons backline where he is joined by Bristol-bound fly-half Adrian Jarvis.
