Pupils have saluted the teenagers who helped to transform their school with two weeks of volunteering.
The team of youngsters set about painting and tidying Benedict Primary School in Mitcham as part of a programme run by the Prince’s Trust.
The group spent two weeks at the school, splitting their time between working at the school and raising money for supplies and materials to carry out the project.
Last Thursday children and teachers held a ceremony to thank the volunteers for their efforts.
The Prince’s Trust is a national charity that runs schemes helping young people into education, training and work.
