Birds of prey gave a stunning show of falconry this week when they swooped down on a Sutton school.
Students from Seaton House School also learnt how to handle the birds from the Owl Experience in Derbyshire during the display.
Owl Experience trainer Bob Marley explained about their training and care, countries of origin, habitats and how changes in the environment and human intervention affect their survival.
He also highlighted their various characteristics, the importance of diet and exercise, reproduction and life cycle.
Headmistress Virginia Rickus said: “This beautiful display of falconry completely enthralled the girls and Mr Morley’s simple, clear and informative explanations gave them a real insight into the lives of these magnificent birds.
“Altogether an unforgettable experience.”
