Art may never have tasted as sweet as it does at the Fountain Gallery, in East Molesey, where new show Off the Wall, an exhibition of sugar art and mixed media, opens on Tuesday.
The Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection of modern and historic wallpapers was the inspiration for Fountain Gallery artist Geraldine Dahlke, who has used sugarcraft techniques to create work on canvas, sculptures, and cakes. Many of the pieces have been preserved so they will remain as permanent works of art.
