A scrap car was set on fire at a breakers yard in Tolworth
A car was set on fire in a suspected arson attack in Tolworth this morning.
Firefighters from Surbiton and New Malden fire stations were called to a burning car at the breakers yard in Fullers Way North, near Tolworth Girls’ School, at about 7am.
It is believed the car was a scrap vehicle that was deliberately set alight.
The crews spent about an hour extinguishing the flames and returned to their stations shortly after 8am.
