If you like to be beside the seaside, grab your bucket and spade and head down to Surbiton for a beach party.
Yes, really.
The denizens of Seething Wells will transform Brighton Road to make it look a bit more like its namesake on Bank Holiday Monday.
Paddling pools will substitute for the sea, while bouncy castles and palm trees will be set up on the sand.
Organiser Robin Hutchinson said: "It's a return to the knotted hankie. It's a 'bring a deckchair' do, and let's be honest, there aren't enough of those any more.
"The driver behind this is to make people smile and make people imagine and think about whether streets need to be the way they are."
Pull up a deckchair on bank holiday Monday, August 31, from 12pm to 4pm.
