Council dumps bin contractor

Kingston Council has dumped the company which currently collects wheelie bins to get ready for a move to fortnightly waste collections.
SITA, which has a 25-year contract with Surrey County Council, will be replaced by Veolia whose 14-year contract begins on August 3.
