Noisy sleepers in Walton have until July 31 to sign up for the UK’s first ever snoring boot camp.

Helps Stop Snoring, a company specialising in the problem, has teamed up with Innkeeper’s Lodge to appeal for the UK’s worst snorers.

The most deserving cases from Walton will be put forward for selection and could be among the first cadets at the army-style boot camp.

Graham Carr-Smith of Helps Stop Snoring said: “We’ve already received a number of applications from snorers in Walton, but there is still time for people to enter.

“Our ‘Sergeant Major’ will inspect each guest’s bags for contraband items such as alcohol and cigarettes, both of which can exacerbate snoring.”

The region’s worst culprit will attend a three-day camp where they will undergo a course including advice from an ear, nose and throat specialist, dieticians and fitness experts.

“The aim is to provide as much advice and information as possible to the selected snorers and their families, helping them to reduce or stop the problem altogether. It’s going to be tough, but the results should be worth it,” said Mr Carr-Smith.

Visit stopsnoring.co.uk or phone 0845 2701660 to apply.
