Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall have become the latest celebrities to be photographed by Bryan Adams to raise awareness about the issue of hearing loss.
As the official photographer for Hear the World, Adams also took a picture of Michael Buble.
Adams has previously taken pictures of Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse, Smokey Robinson, Lindsay Lohan and Dionne Warwick.
Each one was photographed with a hand behind his or her ear to convey an attempt to hear.
Hall recently auctioned off the wedding dress which she wore to marry the Rolling Stone for Emmaus charity for the homeless.
Hear the World is a global non-profit initiative launched by hearing device manufacturer Phonak to educate people about protecting their hearing, the social and emotional implications of hearing loss and the solutions.
"I'm interested in the goals that Hear the World is trying to achieve," Adams said. "As a musician, I'm naturally sympathetic to a cause dedicated to help people appreciate and preserve an individual's sense of sound."
In the UK one in seven people experience some degree of hearing loss and studies have shown that a hearing disability can have a significant negative effect on a person's social, emotional and physical wellbeing, Hear the World said.
Many of the images have appeared in Hear the World magazine, a quarterly publication devoted to the culture of hearing. The current cover is graced by Jagger. Readers can order a free copy or subscribe to Hear the World magazine by visiting www.hear-the-world.com.
Net proceeds of the magazine go to the Hear the World foundation which supports charitable organisations and projects focused on helping hearing impaired people.
