A professional stand up comedian from New Malden has been announced as the Surrey Comet's newest columnist.
Maff Brown will be giving his take on life in his occasional column A Comedian's Perspective.

The 40-year-old is the founder of the award-winning Outside the Box club, which hosts some of comedy's biggest names in intimate venues across Kingston, Surrey, Essex and Buckinghamshire, as they work on new material for upcoming shows.
Previous names to appear on the Outside the Box bill include Bill Bailey, Lee Mack, Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand, Stephen Merchant, Michael McIntyre and Robin Williams.
He started stand up comedy in 2005 and has since gone on to write for comedy royalty Vic and Bob, and is currently writing for BBC2's Mock the Week.
He also co-hosted Rock'n' Roll football with Ian Wright on Absolute Radio and appeared in Jack Dee sitcom Lead Balloon.
He was recommend as the top ten acts to see at the Edinburgh Festival by GQ magazine in 2012 and 2014.
