Following recent appearances in New York and at Ronnie Scotts legendary jazz club in London, Jess Radcliffe’s Trio is delighted to be performing at the Vera Fletcher Hall and to be ushering in the festive season.
They will be celebrating the most fantastic time of the year with some of the greatest Christmas tunes ever written.
Jess and her musicians will take you on a journey through the songs originally performed or composed by the greats, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Richard Rodgers, Gershwin, Cole Porter with some modern tunes given the Jess treatment.
Jess was born into a musical family and trained classically as a pianist and clarinettist at the prestigious Wells Cathedral School.
She was introduced to jazz though big band music, singing as a teenager with Bristol-based big bands and playing flute and saxophone with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
She was offered a place as a jazz vocalist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she graduated with First Class Honours in 2014.
"Jess is a deeply inventive and profoundly creative composer and performer who is unique and breathtakingly brilliant,” Fuzzy Moon Records.
This event is sponsored by NEST of Ripley and Vineking of East Molesey.
