Sir Mick Jagger has left his usual place as frontman to sing backing vocals in a single to raise funds for survivors of the Nepal earthquake.
The Rolling Stones star is accompanying lead vocalist Beverley Knight in the song, Look Into Your Heart.
Fellow Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood plays guitar on the single, with proceeds going to Save The Children’s Nepal Earthquake appeal.
The track was produced by Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and recorded at Abbey Road studios.
It features a 100-strong choir made up of Save The Children supporters who bid for the chance to sing on the record at a charity auction.
Wood said: “I am delighted that this recording made by us for Save The Children will help with the Nepal Appeal.”
Knight added: “The terrible events in Nepal show just how vulnerable our fellow man can be in the face of nature. My hope is that the proceeds of this song will go some way to help raise urgently needed funds to repair homes and restore lives.”
Look Into Your Heart is available for download on iTunes at a cost of 99 pence with all profits going to Save The Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
