Elizabeth Mary Miles (Liz) 17/07/1949 - 29/06/2023 Liz died suddenly but peacefully in her home with her husband by her side. Liz was born in Haltwhistle, Northumberland. She lived there until she moved to study at the LSE in London, then lived in Swansea while working for the Civil Service, before moving down to Twickenham with her husband, Richard. There they had a son, Alexander. Liz brought joy to those around her with her enthusiasm and sharp wit. Liz had a great passion for literature, film, theatre, and other culture, searching for obscure and eclectic media to consume from all eras. Her ability to find treasures and show them to those around her lives on in the passion she sparked in others. She also had a quick mind, brilliant sense of humour, and was someone who would always hold a thought-provoking conversation. She was emotionally generous, thoughtful, smart, engaged, engaging, fun to be around, a fantastic wife, and a brilliant mother. The joy she gave endures in the memory of her family.
