Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup will be turning her talents to food-tasting at the Great Rhubarb and Leek Challenge.
The professional dancer-come-foodie will be judging the challenge at the farmer’s market on Saturday May 18, as part of the Surbiton Food Festival.
David Jacobson, co-chair of the Maple Road Surbiton Farmer’s Market, said: “We knew that she was a bit of a foodie and she seemed a natural choice.
“She lives locally and we thought she would add a bit of glamour to the event.”
Food-lovers are being invited to create their own dishes or art works using rhubarbs and leeks.
The finished pieces will be judged at the Antelope pub, where the creations will be displayed.
Alison Ewbank said: "If we get good weather I think we will get a really good turnout."
The event is part of the final weekend of the Surbiton Food Festival. The French Table, on Maple Road, will be offering free cheese and wine tasting at the market.
The festival is set to culminate with a community sports day and teddy bear's picnic at Victoria Recreation Ground on Saturday.
And on Sunday residents can enjoy a Big Brunch throughout Surbiton.
