by Mareike Oltmann Brazil may not have won the World Cup, but last Sunday their spirit took over the whole Market Place in Kingston.Drummers, dancers, puppets and performers from many of the groups performing at the festival enjoyed the good weather and the feeling of making music together. In every face, both in the carnival and in the audience, was a smile and the kids had a sparkle in their eyes.The whole carnival was very colourful with a wide variety of people coming together to show-off their talents. No passerby was able to continue on their journey without first stopping and enjoying the fun taking place in central Kingston.
