What does the future hold for Tolworth Tower now that developers CNM Estates have taken the reins?
The group will hold a public exhibition to show off its plans and allow residents to grill its development team.
The company told residents: "Our proposals will retain the existing tower whilst upgrading the external look and energy efficiency of the building, as part of a much needed regeneration for the whole site.
"A new build element on Tolworth Broadway will provide new retail units as well as residential accommodation including affordable housing."
The exhibition will be held in the tower, with entry via the Ewell Road entrance, on:
- Thursday, March 5, from 3pm to 7pm
- Friday, March 6, from 10am to 5pm
- Saturday, March 7, from 10am to 2pm

CNM, who built the Red Square development on Ewell Road and have begun work on Surbiton Point at the Ellerton Road junction, are not the only ones to unveil a new vision of a regenerated Tolworth.
- A new Tolworth Tower? 23-storey apartment block planned by Tesco for old Toby Jug site by A3
- Going underground? A3 at Tolworth could become a tunnel, says Boris Johnson
Tesco, who long planned to build a superstore off the roundabout, backed down last year and said they planned a residential development of some 800 homes.
Boris Johnson, the mayor of London, said earlier this month that Tolworth was one of several locations around the capital where main roads could be sunk undergroud.
The move would "not only provide additional capacity for traffic, but it would also unlock surface space and reduce the impact of noise and pollution", he said.
