Brooklands College hosted its first event for young people and carers looking for help and services.
Lorraine Crossland, head of faculty for learning development, said: "It was a specially tailored transitions event, targeted at young people with learning difficulties and disabilities (LDD), their parents and carers who live in and around Elmbridge.
"There are many organisations who help and support young people with LDD but often parents and carers won't know what is out there."
Nearly 40 Surrey organisations filled the college's main hall at the event.
Anne Hubble, from Carer Support Elmbridge, said: "It was very exciting to see how many organisations there are, with so much to offer to young people with learning disabilities in this area."
