Young volcanologists took a field trip to Tenerife to understand more about geology.
Students from Danes Hill School, Oxshott, were away from March 26 to 30, to explore a world heritage site, perform experiments on volcanoes and lava tubes and study star constellations.
The 36 pupils managed to fit some fun in as well, seeing whales and dolphins in the wild visiting a water park.
