"I used to be a primary school teacher and I care passionately about children growing up in a Britain they can be proud of.
"To achieve that, Britain must become a self-governing sovereign state once more, and for this we need to bring about change.
"I am very proud to be running as a prospective UKIP MP for a community that I have grown up in.
"Fed up with career politicians, I want the House of Commons to be filled with people from a diverse range of backgrounds with life experiences that echo the experiences of their electorate.
"I know first-hand that UKIP are a common sense party and our fully costed manifesto stands up for the people of this fantastic country."
