I have received a leaflet from St George, the developer of the old post office site in Kingston, setting out how wonderful their revised proposal is following “dialogue with local stakeholders and community groups”.
This proposed development offers no benefit to the people who actually live and work in the town. There is little affordable housing and little community or amenity space for such a large site.
The only people who will derive any benefit from this is the developer.
This hideous, overblown development must not go ahead and I urge the council to reject it outright.
