The businesswoman behind a tool to help babies get to sleep in the day is one step closer to pitching to Sir Richard Branson.
Cara Sayer, 43, from Walton, has secured a place in the final 50 for the Pitch to Rich competition, which could see her gaining up to £250,000 to boost SnoozeShade, her business.
She said: "This competition is such an exciting opportunity for SnoozeShade and I am thrilled my pitch made the shortlist.
"SnoozeShade is a universal product, which has helped thousands of parents all over the world, so to win the £250,000 marketing campaign would just be wonderful as it would allow my product to reach out to even more parents. I am keeping everything crossed."
The best selling brand is the UK's first breathable, blackout solution for prams, buggies, pushchairs, car seats and cots. It was designed to help babies sleep when out and about.
Semi-finalists will be announced on May 19 and online voting will open. The public can then decide who to gets to pitch to Sir Branson on June 26.
