Re It’s foul play (Letters, May 1), as a responsible dog owner who enjoys Richmond Park every day I absolutely agree that we must clean up every time our dogs go to the toilet, as it is a health hazard to humans and wildlife alike.
However, it is not just dog owners to blame for spoiling the park. On every walk I take with my dog I constantly find plastic bottles, tin cans, crisp packets etc, and take them to the nearest bin.
I think that all park owners, dog owners or not, must stop being so lazy and have more respect for Richmond Park.
