Pupils at a Cobham school have been chosen to represent England in 0.22 rifle shooting.
Four pupils from Feltonfleet School, an independent school for three to 13-year-olds, are joining the U14 squad for a 0.22 rifle match later this term against Scotland.
The school’s Rifle Club has enjoyed success at numerous national competitions this year. Club captain Jennifer Phizackerley is one of the pupils joining the U14 squad.
Dr Chris Hames, master in charge of shooting at Feltonfleet said: "We are all extremely proud of these four and indeed of all the committed members of the club and their enthusiasm for the sport.
"Shooting started here at Feltonfleet many decades ago and continues to go from strength to strength."
