A former Olympic gold medallist joined an Olympiad Day for primary school children.
Medal winners: All smiles at ACS Cobham
Tessa Sanderson CBE, a javelin thrower and heptathlete, went round each activity at Reed's School, Cobham, on June 30, to chat to the children and show them her gold medal.
She told the 250 children from schools in inner London, Merton and Surrey, to try out lots of sports and to enjoy themselves.
She said: "It is thanks to the support of many organisations that all these young people are getting this great opportunity today. This school has an especially caring ethos, shown by the wonderful range of activities run consistently."
