The founder of charity Kids Company told students she has "great admiration" for the integration at Reeds School.
Camila Batmanghelidjh was the guest speaker at speech day on Saturday, July 4. She has worked in partnership with the school since 2014, and the school is set for the first foundation bursary student from the charity joining the school in September.
Ms Batmanghelidjh told the pupils: "It's hard to protect good, it requires hard work to make people understand that good sometimes needs to be cherished and in this school you do that.
"I have great admiration for the way you have managed to integrate children with exceptional needs into a community so that those who have possibilities and those who have less possibilities are working side by side being able to share the world in a meaningful way with each other."
