Teenage actor and former wheelchair racing star Jack Binstead will act as an ambassador for charity Jeans for Genes when they celebrate their 20th anniversary next month.
The charity is particularly important to the former Chessington Community College pupil as he suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic disorder that causes a person’s bones to break easily.
Mr Binstead, 18, said: “I can see the good that comes from the work Jeans for Genes put in and, as somebody with a genetic condition, it makes me happy knowing help is out there.”
The Bad Education actor will don his jeans on September 18 for the cause.
