Current England and International netball superstar, Jo Harten, visited the Weybridge Vandals at the weekend for a training session.

The leading goal scorer in the recent Netball World Cup, where England achieved a bronze medal, arrived at the club on October 25 to spend two hours coaching the junior and senior netball players.

She then chatted with players at the club.

Livvy Goldsby, a player from the Vandals U12 team, said: “It was fantastic being able to train with such an awesome netball player as Jo Harten. “She has inspired me to keep trying my hardest with my netball and always enjoy myself at the same time.”

Vandals chair, Kat Liddle said: “It was a fantastic experience for all of our players. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to be coached by an international player like Jo, and it was inspirational especially for our younger players to hear about Jo’s experiences as a netballer.”
