Firefighters were called to Ewell Road at about 9.05pm yesterday to reports of a house fire. Two fire engines attended.
Ewell Road was closed by London Fire Brigade while they attended to the fire, but reopened at about 10.30am.
A spokesman for London Fire Brigade said: “It wasn’t a great deal. We were called to reports of a fire in one of the rooms, fire investigators attended and are currently investigating.
“It’s always important that homeowners remain aware of the dangers of house fires and check their smoke alarms.”
