A crane closed half of Kingston High Street for about an hour as a 3.5 metre chiller unit was delivered to the Rose of Kingston theatre.
The theatre is in the middle of its £6.4million fit-out and the chiller unit, delivered from Italy on June 8, is part of the building's air-conditioning system and will chill water for the air handling unit, which blows cold air around the building in warmer months.
