Lego Batman and Robin characters will be coming to Kingston for The Entertainer’s grand opening in the Bentall Centre on Saturday, January 27.
Celebrating its move from High Street, staff will be welcoming families into the new shop from 9am, and have a day of entertainment planned.
Alongside the appearances of the Lego characters, there will be a balloon modeller, a face painter, competitions and toy demonstrations.
As well as that, the first 20 families through the door will be given gift vouchers worth between £5 and £100.
Store manager Laura O’Neill said: “We are really looking forward to The Entertainer’s famous grand opening event to come to Kingston. It’ll be great for the children to meet some of their favourite life-sized characters and have their picture taken.”
Ahead of the opening, The Entertainer will host a trolley dash for children and families who are helped by Partnership for Children, a Kingston charity that promotes the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children around the world.
Wendy Tabuteau, CEO of Partnership for Children, said: “We’re so happy to have been chosen by The Entertainer to take part in the charity trolley dash. The children are really excited to explore the store and take some new toys home with them.”
