A concert pianist helped Epsom Refugee Network (ERN) raise over £2,000 for refugees last weekend.
As the Epsom Comet reported previously (April 18) internationally renowned pianist Margaret Fingerhut is undertaking a nationwide tour, donating all proceeds to refugee causes including ERN.
The concert took place on Saturday (April 27) at St Martin's Church in Epsom, and ERN's Nina Kaye said it was a great success.
Ms Kaye said: "We had a huge audience raised £2,500 for Epsom Refugee Network.
"The Mayor and Mayoress attended and loved the concert, as did everyone else.
"Margaret Fingerhut played and spoke beautifully and people were very moved by her performance."
