Met Police in Tolworth are appealing for any information that can help them to locate a man who allegedly carried out a burglary in Chessington.
A statement posted online by Met Police said: "Whilst on foot patrol on Hook Rise South, I and Special Constable Mayger, were stopped by a resident who had been burgled this morning.
"At 1030 a white male walked through their open side gate and let themselves into the house through an unlocked back door.
"They called "Hello" and were briefly seen by the home owner who was upstairs before leaving by the door they came in from having stolen a blue laptop and a nintendo switch console."
The male is described as being white with an english accent, cream jacket, approximately 25 years old, and at least five foot eight in height.
Anyone with information can contact the police on 101 or send a direct message to @MPSTolworth on Twitter.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have CCTV footage of a person that matches that description.
Another house was also burgled on Hook Rise South on the February 20.
According to police reports the suspects forced entry into the rear of the property and made an untidy search.
However, police do not have any suspect descriptions for the offence.
Police are also asking residents to ensure that their garden security remains imperitive towards protecting their homes
