SIR. In her most recent newsletter, Susan Kramer tells Barnes residents "Zac says the Conservatives don't deserve your vote."
This is a straightforward attempt to mislead residents into voting for them.
I am quoted as saying that; "the Conservatives are nevertheless a million miles from justifying a green vote".
What the newsletter doesn't say is that the quote appeared in an article long before the last general election, long before David Cameron was elected leader, long before the Conservatives embarked on its biggest ever review of environmental policies.
Using this out-of-date quote is like accusing the Lib Dems of not opposing the Iraq war a decade before it began.
Residents may have grown used to this kind of politics on Kramer's watch, but I refuse to believe they welcome it. They certainly don't deserve it.
