The Jolly Boatman site: Completely out of character'
SIR. The artist's impression for the Jolly Boatman site opposite Hampton Court station shows this new development as a large warehouse.
It is completely out of character with the surrounding area and will cause even more congestion.
It will also ruin the historic views from Hampton Court Palace and for people arriving to visit the Palace all they will see is "the warehouse" which it would soon be called.
Surely someone can come up with a realistic plan.
