SIR. Regarding Dr Kenneth Tinker's comments on the urban foxes - what a sad person he is.

Foxes may scavenge, but they also clear up the debris that we humans deposit carelessly around. They are not vermin.

Has he ever tried watching these creatures, they are amusing, funny, caring and very clever? It would be very sad to see our children having to watch the slaughtering of these creatures. Our children should be watching and caring for our wildlife so their children can see and enjoy.

There are many people out there who enjoy the company of foxes, maybe you should join them, they may make you laugh!
