SIR. All hail Dr Kenneth Tinker, the man speaks sense. It is beyond dispute that children lead dull, over-structured, under-exercised lives consisting of puerile digital content and television and repressed by a growing health and safety totalitarianism. This will lead of its own accord to epidemic levels of mental illness among the generation growing up now.

The exercise of pursuing prey is natural to man. Look at the unchecked beastliness and atavism of children now and you will realise that teaching them to hunt with rules would be a humane alternative to their current activities.
