Thank you for printing the article by Peter Truman on November 21 (about non-Kingston residents being banned from the Villiers Road tip), I believe the impact of this change is even worse than you describe as it also potentially disadvantages those Kingston residents living south of the Borough in Hook and Chessington.
I queried the logic of this change for Kingston ratepayers with the council and Chessington councillors at the beginning of October.
I got the same response as you. My concern is that this proposal has not been clearly thought through and may represent an uneconomic use of ratepayers' money, and if Surrey follows suit, could result in increased traffic congestion for the town and significant reduction in current facilities particularly for those residents south of the A3.
