Re the letter printed on November 28, "Foxy Fantasy", while I understand that Dr Kenneth Tinker's letter was written in jest (I hope) do you not think that it is irresponsible of you and him to promote teenagers hunting with guns when gun crime is at crisis point?
Almost every week there is a story in the papers about a young person losing their life to the so called gun culture, including your paper this week which carried an item about a Kingston University student being murdered with a gun.
Also, what have the poor old foxes ever done to Dr Tinker to make him so trigger-happy?
I think Dr Tinker needs to take a reality check.

By email Editor's note: while Dr Tinker's escapades were clearly fictional, we felt that they were so well-written that they merited inclusion under the headline Foxy Fantasy'. We hope this clears up any confusion.
