I was intrigued to read your story about Wandsworth's £3million local transport grant from Mayor Livingstone. It appears from your reporting that we have done well in Wandsworth.
In fact, Wandsworth received one of the smallest grants, with only Bexley and Kensington and Chelsea receiving less.
It would be good news if the Mayor and Transport for London put more money into our badly served bus routes, such as Tooting Bec along Trinity Road up to and over Wandsworth Bridge.
Many residents have put in pleas to me for better transport coverage. I am sure there are other routes with the same problems and I would be pleased to hear from your readers.
