Now is the chance for residents to have their say on the future of healthcare.

A three-month London-wide consultation has been launched asking residents for their views on how the NHS in London could provide better, safer, more accessible services.

Proposed plans were first outlined in July in a report by Professor Lord Darzi - now a health minister.

Kingston Primary Care Trust (PCT) is holding a public roadshow from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 7, at the United Reformed Church in Eden Street, Kingston. The meeting is a drop-in session and there is no need to book.

It is for staff, patients, residents, representative groups, unions, elected representatives and anyone who has an interest in, or might use, London health services.

David Smith, chief executive of Kingston PCT, said: "In Kingston, the PCT is proposing a number of service changes, for example in the provision of mental health services, which are in line with the direction of travel proposed in Healthcare for London. We are engaging with all our local stakeholders and community to seek their views."
