Two portaloos have been stolen from a Covid testing centre in Chertsey, prompting a police investigation.
The theft was reported by Runnymede Police, who posted about the incident on social media.
In a short Facebook post describing what happened and their response, a spokesperson for the area police force said:
"Two portaloos have been stolen from an @NHSuk testing facility on Curfew Bell Road in #Chertsey," it read, suggesting the Unither House NHS Centre on Curfew Bell Road had been targeted.
"Aside from the inevitable comments about how we’ve 'nothing to go on', if you have information about the theft please send us a message quoting reference 45210006060," the spokesperson added.

Despite the pressures brought on the NHS by the Covid-19 pandemic, a number of NHS facilities and workers have been targeted by thieves since the pandemic broke out.
Items including bicycles, food donations and even Personal Protective Equipment have been stolen from NHS staff since the first wave of the pandemic in the UK back in March.
