Police are hunting for two suspects believed to be involved in the threatening of children in the New Haw area last week.
In a statement appealing for witnesses and information, Surrey Police said two incidents of intimidation and harassment on Friday (March 12) had prompted their attention.
They are now seeking two suspects thought be a boy and girl aged between 13 and 18 years old.
The first incident happened around 3.45pm on Scotland Bridge Road, when the suspects attempted to rob a young girl.
"The victim was verbally and physically intimidated by the suspects but fortunately nothing was taken," police said.
A short while later, around 5.15pm on Woodham Lane in Addlestone, two young boys were also approached by two suspects.
They were then "verbally intimidated and... threatened with violence".
"Luckily the two victims managed to get away unhurt and nothing was taken from them," the police statement read.
Descriptions of the suspects, both thought to be white teenagers, were meanwhile published:
- The boy is believed to be around 5ft tall, of slim build, with short blonde hair and wearing a black rain coat and black tracksuit bottoms.
- The girl is described as being around 5ft 6 tall, of heavy build, with long brown hair in a ponytail and wearing a black t-shirt and black skinny jeans.
