Three teenagers attacked and injured another in an assault in Leatherhead, police have said, prompting an appeal and investigation.
The violent episode happened in the green space between Randall's Road and the River Mole on Sunday afternoon, March 14.
Surrey Police, investigating, said three teenage boys "were seen hitting another on the head from behind leaving the victim with facial injuries" in the assault, which occurred around 4pm Sunday.
"All three of the suspects have been described as wearing track suits and black balaclavas," a spokesperson for the county police force added.
They are now appealing for witnesses, releasing the crime reference number PR/ 45210027326 and urging people with information get in touch with officers directly or anonymously with Crimestoppers.
