A new cafe opening on Thames Street in Kingston today (Wednesday, April 21) will be owned by a Kingstonian resident and has created 10 new jobs in the town, its backers have said.
Triple Two Coffee run 17 cafes across the UK and said their latest site in Kingston would be offering £1 hot drinks for a limited time only to welcome new customers in.
Self-described "coffee masters", the chain also provide a range of food options they claim sets them apart from their rivals.
A spokesperson said the new owner Shoaib is a Kingston local and that they were happy to bring new jobs to the town amid the economic impact of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Rafael Agrizzi, who heads openings at the company, added: "We’re really excited about opening the new branch in Kingston – and we look forward to meeting some of our new customers.
"You can find us on Thames Street, right in the heart of Kingston, where we will be serving our artisan coffee paired with some tasty breakfast, lunches and grab and go snacks, including our new sushi range.
"Our Kingston opening kicks off what is going to be a busy couple of months for Triple Two, with six new stores due to open in the next two months, including a new store in Soho."
