Police are appealing for information after a woman was targeted with racist verbal abuse in Epsom recently.
The incident happened on Long Grove Park in Epsom on Tuesday, March 16, police said.
Police, who described what happened as a "racially-aggravated verbal assault" said that a woman was with her young child at the park around 3pm when a man approached them.
"The victim was taking her young child to the park when she was approached by a man who made racially charged comments to her.
"The suspect was described as a white man in his late 30s, around 180cm tall and of a large build.
"He had short, dark hair and was dressed in a dark jumper and jeans," a Surrey Police spokesperson said.
