A 14-year-old boy has been hospitalised with 'serious injuries' after a crash outside Kempton Park Racecourse on Tuesday ( May 4).
Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the A308 Staines Road East, Sunbury-on-Thames, at around 6pm.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and took the boy to hospital.
The female driver of the car was uninjured but was treated for shock.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We are appealing for anyone with any information, especially if you were driving in the area at the time of the collision and you have dashcam footage, to get in touch with us straightaway.
"We would also ask that you do not speculate about the circumstances surrounding the collision – enquiries remain ongoing."
