Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight in Epsom town centre led to reports of a man armed with a weapon chasing others through the area.
The fight reportedly broke out on Saturday night (June 19) sometime before 10.40pm when officers were called to the scene.
They responded to reports of a fight breaking out in Nandos adjacent to Waterloo Road, which subsequently "spilled over into the alleyway next to Blacks Burgers towards Oaks Square afterwards..."
In the aftermath, a man was allegedly seen "chasing two other men with a weapon" according to the police witness appeal.
After arriving at the scene and conducting an "extensive search", however, officers did not locate either any victims or anyone armed with a weapon.
