A MAN has been arrested after a woman was grabbed and dragged to the ground near the Wells Estate in Epsom.
The woman was in the Epsom Common local nature reserve when she was approached from behind at around 6.55pm on Thursday (June 30).
The man ran off and the incident was reported to police.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 30 and 40, fairly short, average build, with short hair like stubble.
He was last seen wearing grey baggy jogging bottoms and a zip up hoody.
A 41-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in custody.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone who was in the Bramble Walk area just before it happened.
