A cyclist was badly hurt and road closures enforced in Ewell yesterday (Thursday, July 22) after a crash involving a bus on Reigate Road.
The collision happened on Thursday morning, around 11am, when emergency services were called the scene on Reigate Road, opposite the Hazel Mead junction.
A cyclist involved in the crash sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance - an update on their condition awaits.
Meanwhile, a section of Reigate Road close to the Hazel Mead junction remains closed on Friday.
Police said their cordons were likely to remain in place until at least 3pm on Friday afternoon.
An information appeal has also been launched as police seek to investigate what happened.
