An appeal to trace a wanted man sought by officers investigating a theft has been published by Surrey Police.
A photograph of the face of Jamie McDonald was circulated by county police yesterday (Thursday, August 12) as they sought public help in their search for him.
The statement accompanying the police appeal said that McDonald was 23 and from Croydon, and suggested he had links to various parts of south London and Surrey.
It read: "We're appealing for the public's help to find 23-year-old Jamie McDonald from Croydon who is wanted in connection with an ongoing theft investigation.
"Jamie is described as around 5ft 7inch in height and has blonde hair and brown eyes.
"We believe he has connections across New Addington, Croydon, East Surrey and North Surrey."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey Police and quote PR/45210027142 either via their website or by calling 101, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
